Rebates
The Queensland State Government rebate has ceased as of the 31 st December 2008 . Brisbane City Council residents enjoy a $900 rebate for a 3000litre (or $1150 for tanks with a capacity of 5,000 litres or more) with the same internal plumbing conditions as last year i.e. your water tank has to be plumbed internally to a toilet or laundry receive the rebate .
HOW MUCH DOES INTERNAL PLUMBING COST?
The average cost for plumbing a tank to a toilet or washing machine is around $700. In most cases this extra cost will be more than covered by the recent increases in the Brisbane City Council rebates.
With local council rebates, you can afford to save your garden, wash your car, top up your pool, flush your toilet and still help to conserve the water from our parched dams.
